Written Job Descriptions
All employees have a written job description that clearly defines functions and responsibilities.
All new hires receive a 90-day written training plan with learning goals designed to optimize the employee’s early development and integration into their work team and our Company culture.
In addition to bi-weekly 1-on-1 meetings with their managers, employees receive three written performance reviews annually. These formal reviews emphasize fact-based direct assessment and identify continuing development opportunities, as opposed to being critical.
Pay For Performance
The Company’s pay rates by job are posted publicly in the plant. All employees receive an Annual Compensation Review to ensure that pay rates are competitive and aligned to the employee’s performance.
The Company has comprehensive training programs in place and is working to develop a Training Matrix and Skills Matrix to further this very important corporate initiative.
All employees are eligible at one year of service to enroll in training to become certified by the American Society of Quality. Paired with a payroll deduction so that the employee has skin in the game, and a generous Company Subsidy, the employee can earn this important and prestigious professional certification. Members also receive reserved parking spaces and support the Company’s ISO initiatives.
The Company carefully plans its work using a posted Annual Business Plan so growth initiatives and objectives are visible and opportunities for all team members to support goals is optimized.
